It's strange that Microsoft still has not fixed that. They paid Opera about 10,000,000 USD earlier this year in an out of court settlement, AFAIK one of the terms in the agreement was that they should stop using their 'unfriendly HTML' which was made specifically to look bad on Opera, and possibly some other browsers also.
