Hi Fabio,

We are only looking to change the collation on our application's database and not the default collation for the instance all other other databases in the instance will remain with their existing collation setting.

We have not yet been able to populate the database with any data due to our application not being able to deal with different collations, we were looking at running an ALTER DATABASE COLLATION command through query analyser do you think this is a good way to do it or should we delete the database and configure it to the correct collation when we set it up again.

Any thoughts would be much appreciated as we dont have great knowlege of SQL Server 2000.

Thanks

Jon
