here's how you do it.

I would use a grid. Drag a check box into the column on the grid where you want the tick mark to appear. Then in the properties of the grid, select the "text1" control of the column where you have placed the check box and then click on the title bar of the form that the grid is in. Now press the delete key and you can now delete the TEXT1 control from that column, leaving you with only the check box. You must then set the SPARSE property of the colum that the check box is in to .f.

And thats it !
