You have to SET DELETED ON (in Form.Load()), to hide deleted records.
Also, after deleting a record with DELETE, you have to do something like this:
delete
skip
if eof()
go bottom
endif
ThisForm.Refresh()
If your deleted records are hidden (with SET DELETED ON), you can COUNT to see how many records you have. But note that after doing this, you will be at the end of the table. Depending on what you want to do, you may want to go back to top, or back to the record where you where before.
