Hi Borislav. More curious:

1)I have 2 HP laptops, both quite new but different models. I just tried it on my other laptop and it does not occur, as you say. On the first laptop, however, it continues to exhibit this behaviour even after exiting and reloading VFP. They both run WXP/SP2.

2) If you try to enter the same caption in VFP9, ie .Page1, then it gives an "object name is invalid" error. Even if you enclose it in quotes you get the error, ie ".Page1" is not allowed.

Very strange :) But it was just an accidental discovery and not a problem as such. But curious nonetheless.
