Will it really? I have seen the overview of report improvements, but didn't see this specific point. (Actually, I scanned the text rather quickly.) Can you point me to some Web site that confirms this point?

This is definitely in the reporting release notes with the public beta, with instructions, in case anybody is confused about this <s>. IOW, you should be able to at least try it in the version you have. <s>

As a second point... here is how it works:

* VFP 9 has a reporting XML schema (which we call VFP-RDL).

* it describes the full report run, from runtime data output to all formatting attributes

* in-the-box, you get a class that creates the appropriate XML.

* XML can be used as a base format from which many, many types of output can be constructed

* in-the-box, you get a class derived from the XML one that creates HTML.
