Oh well, thanks for trying, Tracy and Sergey...it's become rather annoying to me. The VFP8 IDE has been kind of flaky for me since day one.

>I just tested it again by adding the directory to my path and issuing ? testing() from the command window with the prg open and changes not saved to it. I am prompted to save and I answer Yes and then it runs fine. I am using VFP8 and Windows XP Pro Sp1.
