Installshield 5 lovers

I did an install of my VFP8 app on my brand new Win XP notebook to see what new peculiarities there are. I use XMLTOCURSOR() etc so I included MSXML3.MSM, as one should, in my IS build.

The VFP8-supplied MSXML3.MSM contains:
msxml3.dll - build 8.20.8730.1
msxmlr.dll - build 8.20.8730.1
msxmla.dll - build 8.20.8730.1

My app checks to see these are really there on start-up and I found:
msxml3.dll - build 8.50.2162.0 present
msxmlr.dll - build 8.20.8730.1 present
msxmla.dll - not present!!!!

I am guessing it was me who put msxmlr.dll there (can someone look on a clean Win XP machine - I forgot).

What has happened? Has the installer seen the newer build of msxml3.dll and quit, or what?

(I assume msxmla.dll is really needed - is it?)

I've nearly had enough of Installshield as the IS5 forum is no longer getting any help from the Installshield moderator there used to be there.

Perplexed
