I'm not in shock. It's a weird feeling. It's almost a relief. They (Major League Baseball) have been toying with us for four years.

Anyway that team had nothing in common with the team that I once liked a lot.

Those days the players were accessible. Some players even stayed in Montreal a bit during winter.

I had lots of good times going to watch them play. By the way I went only 4 to 5 times during the last 6 or 7 years.

There was a time when I went 10 to 15 times per year.

There were still die-hard fans (around 3 thousand) but it appears it was not enough to keep them in Montreal <g>

I've heard that Toronto could be the next one to go in 4 to 5 years. I don't know how serious that one is but I know that the attendance have been slipping there too in the last years.

And this is probably the tip of the iceberg. I'm sure that some american teams are not doing well also.
