>As I understand it, Gmail is Google's new email service, which will scan the user's email traffic and give him ads. That means that if I send an email to a Gmail user, it will be scanned by their program. I don't expect Google to make nefarious use of the information, but I still don't like the idea. I am thinking of refusing to send email to anyone with a Gmail address. It hasn't come up yet. Am I being unreasonable?
I think it's a personal choice. Like politics and religion. I love it and will use until something better comes along. Though I am sorry we might not be exchanging emails in the future... <g>
