Hi Tore,

Me too!! In fact this coming October I am attending the Southwest Fox conference in Tempe (right next to Phoenix) and my 89 year old father will join me there to drive up to the Grand Canyon which he has never seen.

But knowing him, he will take a few minutes to look and then say "OK, been there, done that, what's next?" Heh heh.

Ken

>Thank you for clearing my memory. Never the less, both Phoenix and Scottsdale were really funny devcons. The Phoenix devcon also gave the chance to rent a car and drive up to see the Grand Canyon, a fantastic experience.

>>Hi Tore,

>>The "rodeo" event was in conjunction with the Scottsdale devcon. There was no mechanical bull, but there was a bull ride where attendants used ropes and pulleys to simulate a mechanical bull. They also had a calf roping thingy where you sat on a "horse" and they released a spring loaded mechanical calf and you had to try to rope it. I won the prize in that event, much to the chagrin of my wife, my partner (son) and his wife who thought I was being a bit childish.

>>>Hi Tracy,
>>>
>>>I also remeber George's session, he had made an animation with a lake and small boats, all in VFP. A really funny session. I also remember well the party where all wore red scarves, and among other things they had a mechanical bull so we could play rodeo. It was the first time I tasted Corona beer, but not the last.

>>>>That was it. It was at the Pointe Hilton and we got t-shirts of a coyote with a read bandana on it... I thought it was in Scottsdale not Phoenix, but they are right next to each other so... I remember George Goley gave an animated session. Melissa Dunn did a session too...

>>>>>I attended the Advisor conference in Phoenix in October 1995, and I recall a range of 2,300 - 2,500. The place was packed.
