I hadn't seen this one...but it looks like its really for websites.

This one I've seen for a while. I've never been able to get the downloads on thier website to work though & I had a friend that had a VERY bad experience dealing with these people. (Stuff didn't work, zero support, etc etc etc - a horrible experiece for the poor guy)

Seen this one too..but no video (waaaah waaaaah).

VERY expensive. As matter of fact I use eyeballchat all the time & the client does work reasonably well. The performance and audio/video quality isnt as good as camfrog (www.camfrog.com) - but it still works pretty good. The real problem I have with this one though isn't so much the cost of the thing - but the fact that you can only be in a video chat with one other person at a time - you can't have a 'conference' where more than 2 people are video chating at the same time. That problem seems to be true with almost ALL of the videochat clients I've used and is a big part of why I've decided to make my own.

>yeah I remember playing with that thing 5 or 6 years ago. Kiiiinda helps I guess.

>>My "vision" right now is to have some type of contact list (like what msn, yahoo, icq, etc etc etc has), and have users be able to broadcast/receive audio/video. Thing is I want the broadcasting to be able to broadcast to more than one other user at a time so people can do video conferences with more than just 2 people. I was hoping to find a coupla activex's or maybe use windows media streaming somehow to do it.
