Realized my other message didn't address the number of attendees. I believe there were 5 simultaneous sessions at that DevCon. I don't think there was room for 400 per session, so I really don't think it was as many as 2000.

Just looked at their website. Including suites, etc., the place has about 1100 rooms. The biggest ballroom, when not broken into smaller rooms, seats 1,020, so I think even the 1800 number posted on the wiki is unlikely. Remember that everyone had to fit in one space for a keynote.
