Yeah, I know that, Jim. I was originally referring to house light bulbs anyway. As for the Stars and Stripes in the Canadian flag, why, not many people realise this but, it IS actually a wee cut-out of 2 red and one white stripe from "Old Glory", laid on its side, with the maple leaf there only to disguise the fact! <bg>

bulb as we have, as well as screw in, predominantly a "bayonet" fitting whereby you push in and just give a twist. Iwonder if any other countries (besides ex-British colonies, etc.) have this fitting.
