well, your post had the answer on it... check the image and there you will have what could've gone wrong.

If possible, I'd try connecting with a Windows 2000 Pro or XP Pro computer. If you can connect, then its a licensing problem. If you can't connect, then I would suspect a networking problem (check firewalls, recent updates to the server).
