Agreed that it's simpler. I haven't tested in this scenario, but perhaps it why Nigel said what he did. A while back there was a thread regarding setting a file's time, and I used CreateFile() for that. Can't recall offhand whether or not I tried OpenFile(). I may play around with it today and see.
