Thanks for the advice. Now, it's off to learn one more program. MSDE, I have found, does not have a GUI (at least the free version), so it's kind of like learning mysql. Even the installation process is not easy for me to understand, and I have already run into a number of barriers. The Foxpro upsizing wizard does not even recognize mssql, although i have the server running (as demonstrated by the mssql toolbar). Although I have only had at this for a day, it is very frustrating!
