Hi Cetin
>Framework:( Override it or not use at all (not all the forms, controls need to be derived from framework forms/controls).
I am stickler for procedure and I am not very comfortable to venture in the great yonder <g>

This code runs from a Okay button which is clicked, should I put in a comment in it's error handler? Okay I got it I put in a do case in the error event of the form and I was able to capture the error and return a .f. back to the procedure in question and also I was able to provide a message (my very own <g>) that said that data from xyz was not able to be deleted.
Thanks a lot for your help. I got the util wokring even if tables are in use by views elsewhere on the network and my app knew about the situation.
