I thought about that *after* I sent you the reply, silly me. I've been looking at it a little more closely now, and I can't see any way to control that BackgroundImage either. =( Anyone else know how?

The forms in our app aren't all contained in one form, so that's why we don't use MDI. We use a third-party product (from Developr Express http://www.devexpress.com/) ... to produce forms with an Outlook-style sidebar.
