If you are on your way over to this side of the world from there swing by Izmir. Not only do you get to visit Cetin Basoz, but Izmir has one of the original (circa 1492) Ladino communities. There is a great restaurant called "1888" where everyone speaks Ladino ( as well as Italian, French, English, and Turkish - the Levantines are a fun bunch )
