I think the reason is because they've felt a lot of pressure from MSFT to convert. There's a big independent streak in the VFP community, so the greater the pressure the greater the push back.

I was in one of your sessions at DevCon, and enjoyed it very much. You have a good way of breaking things down to smaller bits, a pleasantly different sense of humor, and made some good points about why a VFP developer could benefit by learning .NET.
