Yes, it's outside my range. I only do UT posts because of time limitations. Also, I devoted so much time to ActiveVFP that I think I've done enough - if other developers think it's important, they can run with it - in articles, software, etc. One of the purposes of a discussion forum is to bring up issues of relevance which is all I'm trying to do.
>So, again I ask, why not write something yourself? Of course, if it's outside your range I would understand why it would need to be authored by someone else.

>>The recent thread #948642 is a perfect example of what I'm talking about. He wants to know if he can use C# with VFP. Of course, there's nothing in the vfp docs about this. Years ago this is the sort of thing Calvin Hsia would have covered in one of his Devcon sessions...
>>>Why doesn't he research an aspect of it and write one himself? He seems like a bright guy. When I'm trying to learn something I find everything I can about it, create the functionality and then write up a synopsis as a future reference. Maybe he could write about how difficult it is for him to find enough articles... <s>

>>>>Sorry if I seem a little peeved, but no matter what great and useful material is out there on COM Interop, in your opinion it isn't enough.
>>>>
>>>>I do suggest that you read the articles listed above and also Claudio's white paper which his session was based on, and then let us know what is missing.
