That's great - will you have an article on this subject in your mag?
I may be blind, but, to me there hasn't been much coverage in the mags or conferences, in the past few years, about this area of VFP. If this is now changing, I think it's great! Ken Levy says the VFPT is about to put out a white paper on VFP interop with .NET. If this happens and it's useful in the scenario we've been discussing, then maybe things really are changing for the better. If I see this happening and there is a renewed interest in actually "using the best of both worlds" as opposed to converting everything to another world (.NET) then it will definitely make things more interesting...

>In addition to other articles and sessions you have already heard about, I'm teaching a session at SouthWest Fox and also at German DevCon on "Encapsulating Old Code" that does just that, with ASP.NET as one of the uses for the MTDLL, so the subject is not being ignored either in pubs or in conferences.

>As for your question above... I suggest that you consider doing as others have done over the years when putting developer tools to use in practical ways... write about it. If you would advise creating a VFP MTDLL to preserve investment in code, why not show others HOW to do that and WHY by just writing a simple article or whitepaper, either for publication or to post on your website? You might find that once you get started on it, that the ideas will just flow easily, and I would be happy to help edit it for you if you want.

>The people who usually write and teach sessions are typically very busy people who don't really have extra time available, either.
