Well actually 2 questions.

I dislike that in Windows explorer you cannot right click on a folder and create a new subfolder. If someone knows a way to add that option, that would be great.

Because that is not an option for me, I add a folder by clicking on the folder I want it to be under. Then under the File menu select New, then Folder.

When you do that, you get a long list of programs that the program developer decided would be useful. Not a single one is at that point and it slows up the menu that displays. As you own your PC and load and unload programs, it's get more annoying.

I am running XP. I have backed up my system files and ran Regedit. There I deleted most of the entries in:
HKEY_USERS\{something cryptic and unique for each user}\
Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Discardable\
PostSetup\ShellNew\

I found this directory by searching for a program listed as an option that I thought was pretty unique.

After deleting the entries, I can open Explorer and the programs listed are gone, and the menu displays much faster, just as I wanted. But, I close Explorer, reopen it and the programs are back and the entries are back in the registry.

Does anyone know how to do what I am wanting or make it so I can add the create a folder option by right clicking.

Thanks
