"Cannot update the cursor FOXRESOURCE, since it is read-only"

I keep getting this error when I try to save changes to Tools/Options or Taskpane.
I have to ignore it 3 times to exit.
I log-in as administrator. Got all rights.
I even deletes the foxpro folder in my "documents and settings" folder, where the foxresource file is located.
Fox recreates this.
Also tried to reset the read only on the foxuser file, but each time fox starts it is reaset to read only.

I am using VFP8 SP1 in WinXP pRO SP1.
