I read with interest your VFP 3.0 Unleashed which gave me a lot of pekks and pokes and the inside outs of VFP. Most of my principal clients had asked me to shift the clipper based programs to Window based running on NT 3.5. I was then undecided whether to go for VB4 or VFP 3.0. I decided to go a book store to look for some wondow manuals and I was right to have picked up the unleash which had given me a strong foundation in VFP. Since then I've written at least half a dozen applications ranging from Accounting to MRP for used by manufacturers. Keep it up Jim. I'm hoping to see the VFP 6.0 Unleash in the book shell pretty soon.

Lately I came across a few problems while running VFP 5.0a like Appending .bmp files to general fields which could work pretty well in VFP 3.0 but got runtime error 1426 each time I ran the command : appe general mygerenalfield from .bmp file link. This is the reason why I've still not released my VFP 5.0 applications yet. What do you think is the cause ?
