You can turn off the horizontal scrollbar entirely with the ScrollBars property.

Preventing the scroll in the left panel was accomplished by issuing a nodefault in the MouseDown() using the coordinates to detect if the click was in the scrollbar region. I can dig the code up if you can't find it.

>Hi David, I didn't see your previous posting but would be really interested in the code that stops a grid from scrolling horizontally. either that or something to make it programatically scroll back again. Seems better to stop it in the first place.
