I'm relatively new to the FoxPro world of programming having basically only one year in, so my skill set is very limited (I still do quite a bit of copy and paste and plagarizing of other programs).

There were three things that intrigued me most;
The first was the BINDEVENT and ability to capture windows events. I can see us putting this feature to use in trouble shooting application errors. We have a few users who seem to consitently have problems where others do not. Having the ability to track what they are doing in the windows environment from within the FoxPro environment is a huge tool which should be able to assist us in correcting the action or programming around it. You could look at it as the program learning the user instead of the user learning the program.
The second item(s) were the new changes/enhancements to the report system. The UI enhancements and the multiple detail bands to name a few.
And the final item was the ICASE. I remember when I first started programming (way back in BASIC) nested if statements always seemed to get the job done until my knowledge of the language improved to the point where I could "see" other, more efficient alternatives to coding. The same is holding true in my learning curve of FoxPro so I am really fascinated by this new command!
