TRANSFORM(x) to ceate the node key and VAL(Node.Key) to get it back to find the record - or a variation thereof...

>I just might, but right now I just got to get it to work. I assumed the node's KEY property would be numeric, but it is character. That seems strange. Now I have to assign something like STR(x) to it as my key expression is integer-based. Am I looking at this wrong?

>>If you get FoxTalk Magazine, Andy and I had a Kitbox column called "You can view the forest with a tree!" on the November 2002 issue. In it we presented a Data-Driven the treeview class that does exactly what you are trying to do.
