I think it is great that we can have private datasessions, with independent SET settings (cf. set DATE, set DATASESSION, etc.), but what I do not understand is why they are reset to some defaults each time other objects are invoked, let allone instantiated.
Would it not have been easier if these SETS simply kept their values unless they are changed.?
Does anybody understand why this was been implemented the way it was, and is there an easy way around this or _do_ we have to handle these SETS on an ad hoc basis, if we use local datasessions in our forms.
