Hi Sergy,

Thanks for the reply. I want to retrieve the constraint name that was created when I placed a default value on a field. I tried executing

sp_helpconstraint 'Tablename',nomsg

This gave me a list of all contraints. I tried executing the code that you gave but it does not return a result if the constraint type of the column is DEFAULT.

Did I missed on something?
