I recently moved from Win 2000 to XP and I have successfully tweaked the interface to my VF8 app to take advantage of XP themes.

I use the common controls v6 1 & 2 - treeview, listview, date picker, slider etc and while these do not 'theme', they look alright except on page frames. I understand that the common controls v5 use comctl32.dll which enables them to be themed and am thinking of reverting to these older versions.

It's so long since I implemented my classes in VFP with the v6 controls, I am not abreast of the issues any more. What implications are there in reverting back to the v5 controls? What was updated in the v6 controls? Will v5 really theme properly anyway?
