ne, that's a bit over the top for me. the only C knowledge i have is from a calculation programm for a number analysiz, and that was pretty small. <s>

Ok, the COM enhancements of vfp7 seem less important today than a few years ago, but astackinfo was introduced in 7 AFAIR. vfp8 brought you bindevent() and cursoradapter - just to name my favorites. There was definitely more, and you are certain to find something representing a golden nugget for your needs.

You don't have to sell me on the later versions of the Fox <bg>. the reason why i still work with vfp6 is because i am working on a full blown mrp app, which, when i started, vfp6 was the newest version - ja i know - quite some time ago, but it's a realy big, great program <s>.

so, needless to say - i got to finish this app. to change now to a new version of the fox would mean retesting every aspect of the app (even with SET ENGINEBEHAVIOR, etc). testing of the app is by now about 3/4 completed. so i don't think changing version at this time is an option, if i want to release this program any time soon.

but thanks for your oppinion. i'll keep collecting all those 0.02 EUR and 0.02 Cents - make me rich. <vbg>
