One thing I have never figured out about Grids is why there are 2 places to enter the ControlSource for a each column.

i.e. suppose you have a column for the Price of a product. There will be 3 elements for that column: The ColumnName, Header1 and Text1. It seems I must always enter the ControlSource twice, once under the ColumnName and again under Text1. If the ControlSources are not the same then the Grid becomes buggy.

Wouldn't it be easier to just enter the ColumnSource in the text1 space?

What is the purpose of entering the ControlSource twice?
