Well, I am comfortable enough with VFP5 to write everything on my own except for the object which loads forms saved as classes... Actually, I think I could go through the ridiculously simple one I am using and fix up some error checking. But did you look at this Visual Maxframe thing they are amiably advocating? (if so...) What do you think?

I charge my boss 30 bucks an hour, and I don't want to jerk them around. My guess is that prewritten frameworks cost between 250 and 600. That's less than 20 hours of my time. I can't rewrite a framework in that time. If I can buy a clean framework for significantly less I ought to.

But you are probably right. I'm a control freak and anything I buy I will probably want to rewrite. It's just that there are many sharp cookies on this "thread" and maybe someone's actually done what I would want to do already... Using my existing framework I need around 100-200 hours to be happy. I figured I'd give it a shot...
