To answer some of your questions,

1.) No I cannot repeat this issue on request.
2.) Yes it always seems to happen in the same place. The function that it is preforming involves quite a bit of calculation.
3.) No it doesn't hang every single time. On some machines it happens all the time on others not as often and when running right from the server it does happen sparatically.
4.) it doesn't seem to matter who you are logged in.

I don't know if that will help any, but any suggestion would be great.
