The decision criteria for whether to use typed datasets or not when working with MM is no different than if you weren't using MM. They're easier to code against but they make you Business Objects more tightly coupled to your DB structure.

After creating the typed dataset (using any technicue you prefer), simply edit the source code for the typed dataset and make it inheret from mmDataSet instead of DataSet. That's all there is to it.
