To send email using an SMTP server, I've used a registered copy of the wwipstuff tools from http://www.west-wind.com. Current version is called WestWind Internet & Client Tools with link at: http://www.west-wind.com/wwClientTools.asp.

For help in using VFP with Outlook / MAPI, you can search the UT threads and download area.
