Hi Todd,

Security can be an issue in this type of setup. Ask the admin to make sure that all users have FULL access to the applicable directories on the server. This includes ability to delete and create new files. When the admin says that they do have full access, try to rename one of the files in question outside of the application. If it fails, that's usually enough to demonstrate that the problem is not with your app.

Aside from security, they should be running the latest version of Samba that is provided for their distro. Of course, this assumes they are using Samba to communicate with the Windows network, and not something else.
