The structures have not changed.

I created a new blank report. I added all tables, but did not add
any fields, ran it, worked fine.

I then added 1 field from each table and ran it, got the Logon Failed.

I went back & removed the rpt_invtot table and ran it, ran fine.

Can you give me some more insight into exactly what 'Login Failed'
actually means?

>AFIAK, there is no limit. One thing to make sure is that the structure of the table doesn't change from the one used to create the report. Crystal keeps track of fields by location in the table, not by name.
