please pardon me for jumping in. If you wonder what advantage MERE will have over VFP9, I suggest you check Rich's website. To name a few, in addition to PDF: You can programmatically add word documents, Excel sheets, visio drawings and a lot of other file formats to your reports. Built in email features. It's completely object oriented. You have complete control over the printers, like paper source and output bin. And lots of more goodies. In reality you can not compare VFP9 and MERE, MERE is reporting for steroids. <bg>
