Hi Michel,
As a start (and possibly a finish < s >) for the VFP forum, here are the factors that I think would be helpful:
1) VFP version
2) VFP SP level #
3) Kind of app.: .APP, .EXE, COM DLL, COM EXE
4) Workstation Windows version & SP level #(might need 2 or 3 so that mixed envs. describable)
5) Network OS & SP level #
6) Network type (peer-to-peer or proper)
7) Approx. # of workstations connected
For those that choose to use the feature this should save both questioners and responders time.
