Hi Michel,
I have no idea what you mean when you say "we have that data already in pivot tables which serves for the Visual FoxPro World Wide Applications list" but I guess it means "no problems with those".
As for #s 5,6 and 7, why would you need the input from others? Have you not seen enough problems where it FINALLY was exposed that the person was operating peer-to-peer. There are many problems that relate to peer-to-peer and there are many problems that relate specifically to Novell or Win2003 Server for instance.
As for #3, drop it if you like - I don't see how it can hurt and it is another thing that does have impact. There have been many problems questioned where the person was trying to generate output from a COM DLL, for instance, but that was not mentioned in the first question.
By the way, if you want input from other people I assume that YOU will ask them.
Jim
>>As a start (and possibly a finish < s >) for the VFP forum, here are the factors that I think would be helpful:
>>1) VFP version
>>2) VFP SP level #
>>3) Kind of app.: .APP, .EXE, COM DLL, COM EXE
>>4) Workstation Windows version & SP level #(might need 2 or 3 so that mixed envs. describable)
>>5) Network OS & SP level #
>>6) Network type (peer-to-peer or proper)
>>7) Approx. # of workstations connected
>>For those that choose to use the feature this should save both questioners and responders time.
