Hello Michael,

Thanks for your help, we tryied removing the cursor and other alternatives and still got the problem.

We found a quick fix by changing the compatibility level of the database from 80 to 70 (going back to SQL 7 compatibility) and a big surprise happened, our query executed in 42 seconds !!!

We really don't understand what's going on, and we think about placing a call with MS.
