I am pretty sure that I already gave you the best solution, we use the same solution ourselves, we have used it for many years now without any problems. It may be possible to hack the FRX programmatically before each print job, but then what if many users want to use the same FRX, they may end up using the hacked version. And you must also hack it back to restore the origional setting after the report is done.

In my case I simply issus SET PRINTER TO NAME 'myVirtualPrinterWithTheNecessarySetup' before REPORT FORM myform TO PRINTER, that's all!

By the way, of course NO printer specific settings are in the FRX.
