What happens if you define a < Textarea > field in the HTML and simply assign it the value of the Memo field with no further manipulation in VFP like:

< %= ALLTRIM(yourmemofield) % >

right in the HTML? Is this where you hit a 254 character limit??

My page looks like multitable.htm of avpdemo2 project but one field of one table is memo.I tried something - in the cursor I selected a character field space(254) and I did the assigment memo to character field.Of course I can create 2 character field and to the second to assign the rest after 254, but I think is not the optim solution.If yhe memo is biger than 254 - the max length of character field or 508 for two fields.
