>>As I see this problem, it's just a matter of M$'s internal info not
having spread where it should. The great things done for VFP within M$
never reach its outer rims. Perhaps M$'s IS isn't working properly - should
we write one for them (in VFP or in VB...?).

>Microsoft is a HUGE worldwide organization. It is connected via an
intranet. I'm sure there are many reasons why this problem exists. Two that
come to mind are 1) The sales staff gets so much stuff that they can't read
it all, and 2) language problems prohibit sales staff in non-English
speaking countries from understanding everything.

I tried last year to get info from IBM on a specific labtop
that allowed mobile communications.
I was on the phone for 2-3 hours with them being connected
to probably every department in their huge conglomerate.
I had read about the product and knew they had it but
everyone at IBM said never heard of it ... even the
hardware/laptop people.
It wasn't a reflection of bad laptops, it was a reflection
of bad communications between their hardware mgf and sales dept.
