OK I actually just recoded the same line and it stopped complaining about it, perhaps a side-effect of pasting from the web the first time.

Therefore, the original problem is nominally solved, however, I would like a better handle on what services running on win2000 server control Component Services hosting etc. During my testing I expect to have a number of wayward components that need to be flushed out of the pipe :)
