Hi Pablo,

I'm not sure this will help.

>I need a list of every files I've modified in a wide range of time, in VSS.
>How can I achieve that task? Is there a way?

1) Go to the top of the "All Projects" tree and right click on the root project (usually named "$/")

2) Select "Show History..." from the popup menu that appears.

3) This should show a window that is titled "Project History Options". Make sure you check the "Recursive" option. You should also enter your user name in the "User:" box.

4) If you want to use a date range then enter the "From:" and "To:" date/time ranges as follows:

D01/01/04;12:00 (for 12 o'clock 1st Januray 2004). The time element is optional but you must prefix the string with the letter D as it tells VSS that you wish to filter by date. The date format depends on your regional settings, for me this dd/mm/yy... I am not sure what the default format is for Argentina.

As an example I enter the following criteria to get all the files I have checked in/out this month:

From: D01/10/04
To: D15/15/04
User: BENS

5) Once you have entered your filter criteria click OK. It may take a while to search... if yopu have a large project list it could take a very long time. Once complete you will have a list of all files that you have modified within the given range.

6) To get a useable copy of this information just click the "Report" button, you will be able to output the results to a file or the clipboard.

An example of the output is:
$/DevProjects

main_class.vct Bens 15/10/04 9:51 Checked in $/Development/tpsrepo
main_class.vcx Bens 15/10/04 9:51 Checked in $/Development/tpsrepo
I hope this helps.

Regards,

Ben
