Question here:

I installed it on my 'test-computer'. it starts a website to enable you to search. that woried me a bit. i don't want all my data go through the web. the ip for the website is not my ip address.

so i am not so sure about this, especially after hearing news a while back that google come up with search results of information which was confidential (don't ask me for referenses, i don't remember).

i am usually not paranoid, but this seems to be a bit questionable - unless someone can educate me?!
